- Air traffic rerouted via Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, Chennai ATC zones.
- Only 6 shared waypoints used (vs. usual 12), mostly rerouted via Muscat FIR.
- China route avoided due to rigid structure & safety issues over mountainous terrain.
