The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the Civil Services Examination, CSE notification today (January 22). Through the official notice, the commission has informed the aspiring candidates that a total of 979 vacancies are to be filled this year. Along with this, the application window to apply for UPSC CSE 2025 has been activated. After reading the eligibility requirements, candidates can apply for the exam at upsc.gov.in till February 11, 2025.
Last year, a total of 1056 vacancies were reported in UPSC CSE 2024. Meanwhile, the selection criteria includes a preliminary and mains exam. And then comes a crucial stage i.e. Interview. Candidates who are able to secure qualifying marks are awarded various positions such as IAS, IPS, IFS based on their ranks.
